Lacquered Aluminum Foils
These adhesives, called lacquers, are compatible with food. In lacquered foils used for consumer safety, lacquers have two separate functions. The first is to seal the lid to the lower container, and the second is to prevent the aluminum from coming into contact with the product inside the container.
Aluminum Foil Lids are produced with the ability to adhere to many types of plastic materials, including Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS), Polyethylene (PE), PET, PVC depending on the bottom containers. Lacquered foils are sealed at the appropriate temperature with a thermal heat head and adhere to the container mouth.
